Is there a light out reset
I keep getting the dash sign indicating that a lamp is out but I have checked all of the lamps and replaced 2 of them and they all work. Do I need to reset a switch?
Also my 99 RX300 is having a problem with the heat/AC I think.
Last summer, the AC didn't appear to really put out cold air. This wee we finally had cold weather and I turned on the heater and defroster. All I got was cold air from the bottom and up on the dash. The rear defroster worked and thannk god the heated seats were functioning. Anyone have any Diagonsis based on the symptoms, I am definitely NOT a mechanic and I read some of the heater issues below but not sure if they are for the same problem.
Now if you want to know about home electronics and HDTV I am your guy.
Thanks for any input

I think the most common light to miss is the upper rear stop light. Check the lights at night; it is difficult to check during the day, in my experience. It is possible that you are getting a continuing false indication, but unlikely.
There have been some discussion in the past few months on removing the glove box and observing the movement of the controls on the three air mixing servos that are located behind the glove box. There was also discussion on repairing (lubing) them if they weren't working. These are possibilities.

just adding on to bob2200's post..
The bulb out warning comes on, once the detection circuit registers a current lower than expected. Verify the 3rd brake light is working. If that and others are working, then, one or more is about to go out .. just wait a week or two. You can preemptively start changing one at a time till problem goes away.
For heat/cool air, search the term Air-mix servo.
