My sun visors squeak when I move them, such as forward to block the sun or to return to their stored/flipped up position. Both squeak, the passenger side is the louder of the two. The squeak comes from where the metal arm goes into the sun visor. Any suggestions on how to fix this annoying problem?

 

I have the same exact problem just only on the driver side's sun visor. I've tried lubricating where the sun visor rotates along the bar with silicone and wd-40 but both have not worked.

 

Although squeaking is bad, but one of the bad things that happen in RX is that you do not have enough friction to make the visor stay. So don't over-lube it.

I used a very small amount of bees wax on our 2001 RX, but as Salim said not too much.
