i had my 99 rx300 awd retrofitted with lexus ls460 projectors...most incredible headlights i have ever seen...by far the absolutely widest headlight there is.

anyhow, both of my fog lights are dead, and instead of replacing them with halogen bulbs again, which seem to die every 5 months. i wanted to simply replace them with xenon bulbs.

however, my car obviously came with the reflectors, so i retrofitted projectors. i dont want to spend the money or time to have my fog lights replaced. firstly, aren't the foglights projects anyways?

i like my projector headlights because it has a perfect cutoff. if i replaced my fog lights bulbs with xenon bulbs, will it splash light everywhere or have a sharp cutoff?

wow must be nice... didnt you do LS430 retrofit before and now you have LS460 retrofit ...with my fog lights i have a set of 3000k hid in them havent had a problem yet light up the street pretty good.....so when is the pictures gonna be up? if you dont mind me asking how old are you?

 

no it was always the 460's i believe...i've never changed the projectors.

how did u make it HID? just change the bulb and add ballasts etc? or get some kind of retrofit

 

no reason just wondering .. your other post said 2005 LS retrofits .. i just order a HID kit and plug and play .. just get a 9006 HID kit for your foglights and plug it in shouldnt be no problem.

 

will it ruin my perfect cutoff? that's something im not willing to let happen. i have a razor sharp cutoff...by replacing these bulbs with HID ones will it spray light all over the play in a slipshod way? im not sure because they so seem like projectors

 

and '05 ls isnt ls460?
