Default Should I go for it?

Hello all. I saw a 2003 Lexus RX(Gold/tan) with 86K on it. It's at an auto mall just at the other side of the street, so I can walk there I wasn't really interested, so I didn't take a test drive or anything. He is asking for $14,900. Please advise me on what I should do, or if you guys need any more info, just let me know. Thanks.

For starters, I think that we could use: (1) what options it has, (2) what condition it is in, and (3) is there a solid maintenance history. If the car has been Lexus dealer-maintained, you should be able to get a service history at any Lexus dealer.

his name is forum noob for a reason lol jk, but if it is in decent condition and is what you are looking for, price seems ok, personally id look for a silver or black one with lower miles, but thats just me.

1) Nothing special in it. I forgot to ask if it's 2WD or AWD. No NAV, there's a 6disc CD Changer, Leather, Moonroof, the basic 300 things. 2) It's in pretty good condition, I'll try to get pictures tomorrow. 3) I'll can carfax maybe?

Pay particular attention to transmission fluid changes along with oil changes in term of the maintenance record, if available.

In addition, at 86K, you are very close to a big service, 90K, and you may want to see if this has already been done as it involves the timing belt.
