Well, long story short, I originally wanted the Red/Clear but ended up receiving Red/Smoke from the eBay seller.

It doesn't look that bad, but i'd still prefer red/white. Anyways, I snapped a few cell phone pix, I have more at home with a real camera, I'll take some night shots and maybe a vid for those interested.

The product seems very high quality and fit like it should.

Anyways, here are a couple of shots (I plan to fully detail the car this weekend so more pix later!)

Left side, candy red painted...looked nice when the paint was still fresh, but it faded & oxidized...temporary fix...
Right side, the new hotness, very happy I bought them...and for the price ~$250ish...can't beat it!

 

Wow, they look a lot better than I thought they would. for continuing to mod your RX, haha since I love your other cars.

Do you have any plans for your old tails? If you're gonna have them lying around the garage may I ask how much I can take them off your hands for? Thx in advance.

Yeah, I was thinking the same, but the improvements with LED are amazing. Everyone else on the road with LED tails make me so jealous...

These are VERY NICE! I say save the money on the film and order a set of LED tails. They come in all sorts of color combos...

~$250 for these huh....lol im buying the rx to give my IS a break from being daily driven...now it looks like im going to be spending money on "modding" my rx...

 

With the RX, plan on spending some dough, there's a lot of stuff you want on your RX.

 

no shizzle bro.. .welcome to the club.....i bought my wife one last year & we now work from home... so i am now rebuilding my IS & doing a bunch of custom work, & i am driving the RX all the time...

I just did new 18x8 wheels & big **** Michelins, Drilled & Slotted rotors & new pads. SS lines are on the way..... i had KYB shocks & Eibach springs installed also dropped it about 1.3 inches or so...& i freaking LOVe it... the thing looks SOOO much better with beefy wheels & tires liek an X5 Vs the OEM "Skinny leg" look, & sitting lower with tighter shox & springs made a HUGE difference in driving dynamics but NOT a huge negative in ride quality i was very surprised to find....

I have a stereo DVD player, sub, & amp to be installed &...am getting pressure from the wife to add the Wood dash kit & oem Wheel & Shift ****...

i am looking for a clean body kit like an RMM or Lsportline for the IS....,

I think i will probably develop a Raptor Supercharger for the thing in the next year as soon as i finish my IS.....

 

no bulb failure warning lights? water leaks?

 

Do they make those tailights for the 99-00? I know that you can install those but i have the Venetian Red exterior and my stock tailights look great since they are the same color. Do they have LEDs with that style?
