Mini bullhorns on the black bull (lower air intake modification)
This afternoon, the skies were clear (but not now, so perhaps no track tonight to test), but I modified as promised the lower air intake. It is an advanced version of this,

Comparing the two you will notice no 90 degree turn at mid level, but instead an angled 45 degree PVC piece to better ram the air upward. In addition, you will notice 2 mini bullhorns attached to the front. This involved some cutting.

We started by cutting the angled 45 degree piece a bit so that the right side wouldn't jut down to far.

We then hooked it into this piece that also has a 45 degree angle.

We then hooked two 45 degree angle half-u plastic pieces on each side.

Now quite equal in terms of how far they hang down, but after I tested them underneath they more or less fit right.

Now for the 'socks' with the left side requiring a 5 inch piece of 3 diameter PCV pipe.

Now after trying it out, it was still a little tall at the top.

Before I did more cutting, thought I would show a side shot.

Time to go chopping again, we actually chopped off about 85% of the top.
