ive been doing some CL research as well as asking local car customizing shops about this...can u tint the windows of the rx300? they have some weird mirror-like coating to them, and the people at a place i go to said it would make it look weird and kind of like a rainbow if i tried to go with black tints. is this true? if so, are there anymore options (i.e. adding more mirror-like tint to them)? if not, what happens when u overlay the mirrored tinting with black? is it ok? if this has been discussed in a forum and im just not seeing it feel free to send the link!

if you put black on the stock mirror tint, then your just gonna make the window even more mirror.

 

if that's so, then is there just a way to add mirror to the already mirrored front windows...something not black? black over mirror would just make a darked mirrored right? so is there a way to add even more mirror?

you can put mirror tint on the front to match the rear windows.

but if you put black tint on the front windows, then they will be black. only because the front windows are clear enough for the black to show through.

ive seen an rx on the road with this and (in my opinion) it just looked horrible.

 

i agree...where would i find the mirror tint? im not sure if the local car place carries this. ive done a lot of business with them and they're great and quite reputable in the area although they aren't very big (only 15 stores nation wide) but they're great in my experience. is there a place online the get them? and good quality too...none of the stickers that go over it. the high grade premier stuff?
