Default temperature sensor hook broke

Hi guys,

Sad to say, I rear-ended a camry(I'm sorry Toyota!) yesterday. Not much damage on the bumper except for scraped paint. I'm in no hurry to fix it since I have enough rock chips from highway driving.

The only thing I found broken was the white hook that holds the sensor in place. Dealership said I have to pay $30 CAD for the sensor itself with the hook. Any alternatives?

I attached a photo from Lexmex:

If only the holder is broken, can't you just Zip tie it?

Maybe superglue it with some extra pieces of plastic.

Use duct tape ;-)
Mine was also broken, I used two nylon zip ties.

I'm not totally worried about the sensor at all, it's not in the hundreds of dollars to replace. The only thing I'm worried is the two wires. I don't want that to suddenly break on me, then even a new sensor would not fix the problem anymore.

I currently have it tied up to the left plastic arm in the bumper with velcro as I can't find a way to put the zip ties around the metal beam there(sorry for the poor description, quite tired already)
