Is it OK to use the Toyota Super Long Life Coolant in my RX300? Or should I stick to the regular Long Life? Thanks.

 

I have drained off coolant from both radiator and engine block and replace with 50% Prestone coolant and 50% distilled water. Never a problem. Another member from another Lexus forum did the same thing and get similiar results. Reason is we follow Lexus' requirement and save $ in the same time. On the inside back cover of my RX300 User Manual, it says

 

For the same price, get the SUPER....it is a better formulation, just do not mix the 2.

 

The Super is 55/45 pre-mixed. So the same price actually buys half of regular long life. Though its 100,000-mile claim is appealing.
