RX300 Dash Cover
I went to Lexus looking for a RX300 Dash Cover. They said they dont stock any as the aftermarket ones did not fit well and they were getting too many returns. Anyone have any vendors to suggest? I have seen the type that look like carpet that you can velcro to the dash. There appear to be some that are "suede-like" too. Any suggestions? My RX300 is black and the dash gets smokin hot with that big glass up front.

How about one of those folding inside-the-glass sun shades for the front window? It would be more effective when parking in the sun, and stores out of the way when the car is in use.

I bought a windshield sun shade, the largest one they had for the big window which showed the RX300 as the right application. Pep Boys carried it. It is aluminum foil finish to reflect sun and has circular air bubbles inside like packing material. This provides some insulation from exterior heat, car is noticable cooler inside. thanks

sunshade from dealer
i bought the foil sunshade from the dealer, for about $20. It fits that large front window perfectly and covers every bit of glass, not letting anything through. the key to keeping it rigid so it always fits, is not to roll it up, leave it the way it comes, in four folds.

I bought one from dealer .. solar heat sheild or somehting similar. This you can roll up and is a perfect fit.
I use it for not just the heat but UV protection as well (even in winter time).
BUT ..
I feel that I have over-used the visor hinge and now it does not stay snug to the roof.
You solve one problem and create another ...
