Post Arm Rests

Hey all, I seem to have a little problem with my center arm rests. The drivers side is very easy to move up and down, But the passenger one is really hard to move either way up or down. I was wondering if there is a simple solution to this? Is it a common problem? And how do i go about removing/loosening the arm rests to move freely up and down. Any help will be very appreciated Thanks

I have the exact same problem except it is my driver's side's armrest that is hard to move up/down and my passenger's side's armrest that is easy to move.

There has to be a way of removing it and maybe lube. I just cant figure out how to remove it. I tried to pry off the round plastic on the out side of the arm rest, but its not coming off, so i figured its best to leave it alone b4 i break it.

pry off the the round center cap, the first time I did this i carefully used my bare fingers applying equal pressure around the cap. under that is a 10mm bolt IIRC. Maybe loosen the bolt and see if that helps.
