Help!

I am thinking about buying Kumho Tires for my RX. Excellent reviews on Tire Rack....Anyone have experience with these tires on the RX.

I put a set on my Lincoln Town Car and was pleased with the ride, handling and quietness. I realize that has little to do with your question but I learned something during the purchase process that might help you out.

After pricing them on Tirerack all the way through to having them installed locally including shipping, taxes and all it was still about 100 dollars cheaper than my local Discount Tire Co. I wanted to do business locally to get the free rotations and road hazard thery offered.

I asked what they could do in light of the Tirerack price and he offered to meet the price and pressed a button on the cash register that read out "Internet price" when explaining the discount on the purchase order!

So brick and morter stores are ready to do battle with the internet if you ask.

28 pounds for the 235-70-16, I like that low weight. Would have to see how much they will soak me for down here.

No, but I like similarity in the specs to the 235 CrossTerrains. There is Kumho dealer across from exhaust shop, and I might take a peek at them. I am strongly considering moving to a different tire come next purchase time.

The Kumho Solus is for passenger cars. It will not handle the SUV load.
