You can go to almost any vehicle forum and read about mostly the problems, drivers are having with that vehicle.

I believe most vehicle forums are a source of information on how to fix problems or get answers to a certain problem they are having. Drivers don't usually go to a vehicle forum and brag about how reliable their vehicle is, they are looking for answers to problems.

However, these forums are very good sources for vehicle recalls, typical problems, etc. It does not reflect on all vehicles of that model. You may read about 90% of problems with the RX300 on this site, and it may be only a 5% problem with all of the RX's.
