Default ac not working???

recently, whenever i turned my ac on, it would blow cold as normal but after a couple of minutes, would blow warm and the ac light would start flashing. i read somewhere on here, that someone had the same symptom and it turned out to be the compressor going bad. i checked the sightglass for any bubbles but there were none. also, i held down the recirculate and auto button while turning on my car, and the number "21" flashed. haha i dont know what this means, but someone said that it should be at "0". someone also told me to check if the system needed to be recharged. i went down to one shop but they just automatically said to replace my compressor. any one have any other ideas? any good places to get a used compressor online? thanks in advance

Air conditioning works on freon pressures. You need to connect a gauge set to determine what those pressures are. Recommend you check your local phone book for a specialized A/C shop, that works and stocks Denso A/C parts.

You may very well have a bad compressor or a punctured condensor, but be careful to have it replaced by those that know the system.

yoon:

There is usually a pressure sensor cut out switch that is there to protect the compressor. There could be an actual problem with pressure or the safety switch can be bad.

We can speculate, but you really must have the pressure lines monitored.
