Default Washer Pump 2000 RX300

Does anyone know where the washer pump is located on the RX? I assume it is hidden behind some panel and before I start looking on my own, I wanted to see if anyone had tackled this before. Thanks..

The pictoral instructions for replacing it have been posted within the past year. Also, somebody found a Toyota pump that fit, at a lower price. Try some keyword searches and let us know how you make out finding the information.

i posted success with using the Highlander pump for almost half price. It's behind the fender liner on the right front tire.

Funny thing, I took the fuse out to check it first. It was OK, put the fuse back in and now the pump is working again??????

I replaced my wiper pump a few years ago. It is behind the wiper fluid bottle. You have to get at it by taking off the bumber. Not very hard to do, few screws just keep them in order when you take them off.

One note....since I did it the wiper fluid light is on on the dash board and a new sensor is 130 bucks. LOL. Be gentle putting it on, dont ruin the sensor.

taking off the bumper?? you took the long way around. It`s under the inner fender, just take out the screw`s,and it comes down. Easy to do.

Pasenger front fender liner.
Just turn the wheel to the left and peel the liner out.

Just changed out my Bros. 99RX. Should be a <10min job.
