Default MIleage Indicator

Hi everyone - this morning as I was driving to work, I noticed that the mileage indicator on my 2000 RX300 is flashing randon numbers every couple of seconds. Up to numbers in the 80s then back to very low numbers then up again. Is there a way to reset this indicator?

This is normal. it is showing you the current mileage for that second. You will notice when you are accellerating from a stop it will be a low number, like 2 or 5, when you are coasting to a stop it will be high numbers, like 75, 80, or even 100. When you are stopped it will be at zero. Press the info button to get it to display average mpg, or elapsed time.

Hi - this makes sense. I think maybe I accidentally pressed a button and now it's giving me a different readout than before. Thanks for the help
