Cell phone antenna?
What is everyone using for an external cellular antenna?
I see that they now have stubby lengths that can mount to the front windshield or at the rear side windows.
I would prefer to not use an antenna that goes thru the glass but if the performance is not compromised, then its OK.
Any suggestions?
TIA

Interesting information on the Wilson Antenna HERE
Although I've never had a problem using the phone except in heavily congested traffic in a highly commercial area of a few bocks, this makes sense. I know when cell towers were few and far between out on the interstates, you had to fight for every watt of radiated power you could get. Now, it doesn't seem to be so critical. Of course, YMMV.
Thanks for the tip - it's worth consideration if you regularly have difficulty getting a cell. Thanks!

Yes, this is the model of antenna that I bought, I drive @ 30k miles per year and here in Indiana, there is lots of dead sapce due to the farm lands. I also drive to other states like Minnesota, NY, PA, Illinois etc so sicne I am in my car a lot, I need to antenna and with the Pro Fit bracket, it is easily visible, even thought I use the Blue Tooth ear piece.
