I've been having trouble with my CDs skipping in my 1999 RX300. When I took the CDs out to look at them, they are all terribly scratched. They were all new going into the CD player, and have not been used in any other player.

Does anyone know if this is a known problem? Is it something that requires my taking the car into the dealership?
