Default RX300 Brake pad direction?

After 72K mi I needed to install pads... I purchased factory pads/rotors from Irontoad. Just put my front rotors and pads on. I opened the box of pads and noticed the pad face has a 45 deg champher ground on right hand side and a large concave portion ground down on the left hand side. I installed the large concave champher towards the back so the rotor rotates into this area. Did I put this on right?
It seems to be working fine...

Thanks

It has been a while since I replaced mine, but don't they have a wear indicator lug, that assures only one way mount.

But then no one should argue with success.

The front shoes didnt come with the wear indicator lugs installed. Its just a clip on part that can be mounted on either side. I un cliped and used the ones from the old brakes. The rear brakes do have large indicator clips rivited on. Its all working, not a squeek out of them...
