Hi there!
Does anyone know when the redesigned (next generation) RX 300 is scheduled to go on sale?? I've heard some rumors that it will appear in Fall of 2002 as a 2003 model, others say spring/summer of 2003 as a 2004 model. I would think that they would be anxious to get it out as soon as possible in light of the competition
Thanks !

Thanks for the input!
I love the RX 300 and think it's a great vehicle. The only reason I will not buy it right now and am waiting for a redesign is because of the EXTEREMELY WIDE TURNING CIRCLE - Hampers manuverability. I almost bought an MDX, but that vehicle is not for me. It's too big and bulky. Personally I think the RX is better styled and has far better exterior dimensions. There are many people like me who just DON'T NEED the 7 seats

I agree not everyone would need a thrid row. I've got one daughter and would love to have the third row for when we go places with another couple and their child. I'm lucky in that the owner of my dealership is a family friend so I really do think I can get some detailed information. When I asked if there would be any drastic changes for '04, I was told no because of how much the public adores this vehicle. (Look at how long the ESand even LS stayed the same) When I asked if there was a third row in my future, I was told no. They would have to lengthen it and widen it like Ford did to the Exploder.
vicpai- In regards to the wide turning circle, I just replaced my '99 RX with the Silversport. It's easier!
