Anyone notice these? I just noticed them the other night for the first time so it made me wonder if they're supposed to be on. They're very light and illuminate things just a little -- over the door handle, up by the dome light, down in the footwells. I'm sure it's a normal thing, but just making sure or wondering if you can shut them off (not that I want to).

 

Some people refer them as "mood" light.
Basically they are small yellow LEDs, Acura have them in blue, but I think Lexus' yellow is more soothing.

You can turn them off if you dim your cluster light all the way down. (at least in an LS430)
But they should dim down when you shift the car out of Park.

I love those lights!!

 

Posted this a couple months back; I love the lighting system in the 330; especially the pod rings that light up when you open the door. I think the Honda system is cheesy, as all the gauges light up.
