shut off after idling a minute

i just pulled in a store and walked in to buy a drink, i left my car idling and by the time i got back the engine had shut off....anywa ideas whats going on???

idling left unattended

Maybe soneone shut off the engine for you.

My father in law drives a Mack dump truck and this happened to him once... An unexpected walker by shut off the engine...
