I don't know if I could agree any more.

Mine is a 2004 RX330 Flint Mica/Black
NAV / 18" Wheels / HID / Black Pearl Badges

I can't wait to pick it up this Wednesday. Anyone know a good place to buy a TRD drop in filter? Anything else I should do to spruce it up a bit?

I don't think TRD makes drop-in filter for the RX330. Check the website www.trdusa.com.

If you are thinking of getting K&N filter, don't. My last car's engine was destroyed by K&N. It let thru so much crap that the inner of my engine was sand-blasted.

According to that TRD Website ...

Part Number Vehicle Model Year Part Description Price
00602-17801-012 Lexus RX 330 2004 Air Filters Air Filter $54.21

Do you think this will be bad for the car? Considering that they are basically the same thing as a K&N?
Anyone have a thought on this?

Mine is a Silversport model from 2001. AWD everything but NAV and Nakamichi.

It's a nice ride but I think the refinement of the 330 is more advanced than my car. Since I paid only 24K in November last year, I think I got a decent deal.

That sounds like a good deal. I found a black silversport awd with 24,000 miles on it ... Lexus Certified and all that jazz for 27,000 out the door. I thought that was a good deal, and I was going to do it, but I really wanted the navigation. To my knowledge ... the Silversport edition did not have navigation available.

My 2001 RX300 SilverSport has navigation.
