I have not seen any post where a member has tried to replace compressor bearing. So give it a few days and see if anyone responds. You can also try to ask in highlander forum. Or take the bearing out and let the store match it for you.

Default Yes I will wait

Thank you for replying. I crossed referenced the ac compressor of the Lexus with the Toyota and they are the same on rockauto.

Don't over look purchasing a replacement compressor. Prudence requires flushing the circuit and as cost increases, it might be worth just buying a compressor.

rockauto is a good place. You can also check Amazon but you will have to dig a bit to ensure the item is legit.

I think I might just pull the clutch and pulley out and see if the part number is on the bearing. I have done this in other cars before so that's not a problem. I just didn't want to spend 300 bucks on a new compressor and then 300 bucks on a shop to vacuum and fill the freon. NY prices of course.

For $200 you can buy the AC manifold gauges and a nice vacuum pump from Harbor Freight
