Default The Car from Hell

I bought this '01 RX300 a few weeks ago and I've had nothing but trouble. The latest is the P0325 code (time to use the hack for that code) and too much transmission fluid. The fluid should be near the end of the diostick, right? Not several inches up it. This is with a cold transmission

I intend to do a draon and fill on it but when I put fluid in should I put it in correctly or overfill it?
Fluid level, cold engine.
Fluid level, cold engine.

I assume like that era of toyota, one has to leave the engine on, below operating temp, level should be between the first two cuts on the stick while at operating temp the level should be between the second pair of cuts on the stick?

Level should be checked with the fluid hot, engine running.

Wipe the dipstick clean and read what has been stamped on it.

Do a cold check first [engine off] to make sure there is enough fluid.

Final check is with engine + transmission driven to reach normal operating temperature. Then with engine idling, vehicle parked on flat surface, check the transmission level. [Good luck getting a clean read ... try multiple times].

Please spend some time going over sticky threads. There is a load of information that can make you fall in love with the RX.
