I'm going to try to replace the alternator on my 2000 RX300. Besides the alternator are there any other parts that I should be replacing ? Thx.

 

First diagnose what is bad. I would also have the alternator bench tested before replacing it.

Related part is the alternator belt also referred to as accessory belt.

Lots of batteries and alternators replaced (and with WORSE parts) than you would believe. What @salimshah said above, test each thoroughly. We can help if you have a multimeter. EZPZ.
