TRAC worked well for me when I needed it. Have not really tried the VSC; snow is coming.
I'll give it a test.and note results.

on 99 and 00 models, there is a snow ect mode. the 01 and later have the snow ect mode and a vsc, vehicle skid control. i don't know if it's optional because i had a 00 rx300 and it had power ect mode and snow ect mode. they said that snow ect mode helps you handle better in slippery conditions, but never really used it because i never used it in rain except for once.

I have a 2001RX300 that has developed an issue with the VSC---the car seems to sense a need to employ it and seemingly for no reason a wheel will lock--the only way to stop it is to disconnect the ABS which I had done but now with winter coming I had it reinsstalled and the VSC issue began again. Anyone have any idea what may cause this and if there is a permanent fix other than discionnecting the ABS Thanks
