Went to the track this past weekend, this was my first time so I didnt know what to expect, I had so much fun I wanna go again hehe.
First time around was with a friend of mine (as instructor).

The IS did very well, I think mods and tires helped me alot, the car almost never understeered actually most of the time oversteered a little bit and it was predictable and easy to control. When stock it seemed to understeer too much.
Used the power button with traction and VSC off (VSC on takes all the fun away). The brakes faded some but nothing anoying. The engine responded very well to the 90 degree weather. The paddle shifting became second nature after like one lap. Even my friend was impressed with the car, he said he "wasnt expecting that from a lexus."

My only complaints are that I wish the gears would upshift/downshift faster kinda like the ISF (sure), however Im not looking to brake any records.

Yea it was fun, im definitely going again. Cars were nice, the GTR had a turbo upgrade and was smoking GT2's o straights kinda hard to believe

damn, that looks like fun for sure. great cars indeed. i prefer those twists and turns as opposed to an oval shaped track. still looking for one in so cal thats not too expensive, though i bet i'll be hooked from the start.

 

Track time in the IS350 sure is fun. I'm going back next year.
