Is it Worth it to switch to Novel headers
My number one choice was always Novel headers but didn't go with them because of the crazy wait time, back then it was almost a 6 month wait if I am correct. Instead I went with PPE EL headers and absolutely love them, nothing wrong with them at all, but I'm getting that itch to go with novel. My question is if its worth the headache to go with novel, or will it be similar to PPE EL setup. And on a side note if anyone point me in the right direction to get novel headers.

At the Novel price point, this isn't a "worth it" question, it's a how much do you "want it" question. I'm sure there will be similarities to EL headers from PPE just due to header design, but materials used will have a slightly different effect on sound. Nothing wrong with keeping the PPE headers, or you can YOLO BRO it up on Novel parts. The vendor here Mod-In-Japan sells Novel parts, that might be a good place to start.

I would say no because Novel is known to cause some loss in power due to the fact that they are tuned for that very high pitched F1 like noise?

Sounds is purely subjective. PPE equal length headers sound amazing. It is a bit thicker albeit high pitched noise while the Novel headers is a thinner sound while being high pitched, if that makes any sound. You might listen to the videos of Novel and compare it to your PPE equal length headers sound and see which one you like. I personally would stick with PPE EL headers for price and power reasons while still sounding great.

Like @05RollaXRS said, sound is subjective. But, If you are purely after that 'exotic' sound, then Novel is worth it. I always hear people saying they cause loss of power, loss of power over stock? Or they make less power than PPE? I never noticed any loss of power when I went from stock to novel headers, but then I never dyno'ed my car. Love the sound!

Here is my 2 cents on this.
Novel are not worth the money. People want them because “Japanese parts” but the cost is ridiculous.
They make less power because of the smaller tubing diameter.
As for sound, IMO you’re driving a V8 and it should sound like a V8 which means low pitch and growly. Not high pitched and raspy.

That must be because you’re good looking. I ask girls about headers all the time and now I’m not allowed within 100 yards of a school property.
