Take a look at our Road and Track coilovers from RR Racing. I believe this is in your price range and a better option. With a good, quality shock and a properly selected spring, you will be ahead of the game over anything that's AVS compatible. We select each spring rate for every customer’s needs. Nothing is off the shelf in that respect. Along with coilovers, you need to consider a good set of lower control arm bushings if you haven't done so already. We discount ours by $50 when pairing with the coilovers.

-Megan: 14.00 F 16.00 R (Divorced rear)
-Ohlin's Road and Track: 16.00 F 12.00 R (True rear)
-Function + Form type 3: 12.00 F 10.00 R (True rear)
-RR racing all products: 16.00 F 14.00 R (True rear)
-BC racing: 12.00 F 16.00 R (Divorced rear)
-KW Variant 3: can't find one (True rear)
-RS-R: 10.00 F 14.00 R (Divorced rear)
A lot of these products you can customize spring rates to fit your need.

I was leaning toward the RR racing Road & Track R2, but not sure it will be too harsh over normal street driving.
Looking for coils that feel like stock, but lowered. No such thing exist?

We do not have any predetermined spring rates. Nothing comes standard. We call or email each and every customer to find out what they're doing with the car and select together. I do more 14/10 street setups than anything that goes out for stiffer performance use. Hope this helps. Also, if you need a shop to install, we're not far up the road.
