Hey all,

I'm looking to pick up some headers for my 2020 and have been shopping around. I'm edging towards Novel. I contacted a local import tuner shop and they quoted me $2,100 for EACH manifold (right and left), stating that they "estimated it as both banks being separate labor times because I do not know if there is any overlap if we do them both together."

Now I'm not familiar with prices on header installs, but even $2,100 seems a little high. Any thoughts?

 

That's bat **** crazy right there. When I had them installed on my ISF it was 1k for labor. They also installed a new starter and LCA bushings.

 

$2100 per side is highway robbery.

Clearly they are not familiar with the car and I would recommend you find a shop that has done header installs on these cars before.

For the record it is a huge job but not $4200 huge.

 

Yeah, definitely way too steep. You might have to shop around a bit more.

 

Install cost should range between $800 to $1,500 depending on the shop.

Too bad you're not in SoCal...Tommy from Music Box charges $750....he's done A LOT of header installs.

 

Haha I might very well have to go down to SoCal. The drive down will end up being cheaper than what these local shops are charging
