Not so Black Friday this year...
Was hoping to score an exhaust, headers, brake pads, possibly some 2-pc rotors, and maybe one or two other items...I have been saving up and waiting for this weekend for the past 8 months, but I'm pretty disappointed to say the least. I feel like the past two years had far bigger and better discounts, this year just seems like there aren't any real deals to be had out there? Anybody come across anything really significant for BF 2021?

Hope you get great deals on those parts. Probably that might be because of the supply issue so the demand exceeds the supply so the vendors might not be motivated to put big sales on like they have pre-pandemic.

lol yeah the last couple of years I've found myself finding better deals throughout the year than on black friday... not to mention how many e-mails I get from different companies about their "black friday in July" deals and stuff like that... wtf!?!? I feel the meme perfectly describes what's going on with black friday lmao

Yep right there with you. I wanted two piece rotors, front and rear along with pads. Planned on getting them for black Friday thinking I would save a nice bit... After adding everything to the cart, I think without the normal package deal was $50 off. So with rotors and pads my total was going go be $3500. Plus I had to pay for shipping... That seems so stupid to me. I just bought a replacement siren from FCP Euro which was $140 and got free shipping.. how when spending $3,500 do I NOT qualify for free shipping....smh. Call me spoiled because of Amazon or other vendors but a lot of time I avoid vendors when I have to pay for shipping..lol
Needless to say I did not buy them and will probably wait until my current stuff is due for a replacement when the time comes.. I just figured it would be nice doing it all but no deals = why spend money.

It definitely complicates things when many of the parts are back ordered. We are somewhat scattered on the discounts. Some stuff is very generous and some stuff we couldn't think of discounting at all. I do believe our Girodisc 2 piece rotors are discounted right now but the PPE Headers are not. If you look at our RCF section you will be surprised at the list of stuff that's discounted. We also don't just do Black Friday, it will remain a sale until 12/31. I did make a Flyer for Instagram with a list of RCF sales if you wish to see it shoot me a PM any time.
Hope this helps.

I also inquired about some Lexon side skirts since I have a front lip already that I never put on yet. And prices seem to have been more than last years Black Friday pricing.
I thought they’d get a little cheaper over time but nope.
I did end up buying a Scion IQ body kit from CarID though, and I don’t even own an IQ yet lol. Waiting for a good one to pop up for sale and will get that little microcar as a 3rd car to zip around town with sometimes.

Does this mean that the air/oil separator is not beneficial if you have this setup? Or does that still serve a purpose as well?

I do have a question for you, Justin (and fair warning, it may be a stupid one)...I was considering picking up the intake system (one of the better deals / deeper discounts out there right now) and the description on your website says your intake tube "eliminates the valve cover venting. Instead of venting the valve covers back to the intake manifold, where oil contamination leads to carbon buildup and possible detonation, we vent the valve covers to atmosphere using supplied silicone hoses and genuine K&N breather filter."
Does this mean that the air/oil separator is not beneficial if you have this setup? Or does that still serve a purpose as well?

The valve cover breathers are totally separate from the AOS crank breather hoses, so AOS still valid.
