figs lower control arm bushing lca
Installed some myself a few months ago. Every RCF needs them! It is was not something I noticed on the first few drives. The car feels stock, until you do a quick, or mid corner correction, or evasive maneuver. You start realizing how much more quick and responsive the steering response is. I always felt like my car did not have much steering feel, definitely not enough for this beast. Also, I felt like the car was heavier before just because it makes the car a touch more nimble.
Inner tire wear is usually a toe issue (unless you have excessive camber), and in these cars' instance the inner tire wear is usually caused by toe but namely by dynamic toe. Dynamic toe is when the rear LCA bushing allows some slop which gives slight toe out under braking and slight toe in under acceleration. This provides a nice condition for initial turn-in, but because of this slop the car won't be as nearly agile and quick to point as if that bushing was polyurethane or solid. The only change is you lose toe out under braking but you gain better steering feel and response, and also lose that pesky inner tire wear (albeit if you have good toe settings in general).
