Finally, got around to editing and putting the video up. I shot these clips a while back and set time aside over the weekend to edit it together.

Disclaimer: Apologies for the camera shaking in the last part of the first clip, which is why I edited the part out. Not the camera or the mount, but RCF's chassis/suspension stiffness at high speeds shakes the camera holder quite a lot as I tried a few times to secure it tighter, but it is a suction cup type holder. I was fixated on the end of the tunnel and could not hear the beep, which is why I hit the rev limiter so hard.


State of the car during the run:

First run to 110 mph and 2nd to around 115 mph
Passenger side window open about 2 inches

Oh yeah, that exhaust is on the list.

 

Also, the camera does not capture the sound subtleties quite down to the minute level. Although, if you use headphones you can hear more than with speakers.

 

Did you wake up at 4am to do this, or were you still up at 4am to do this?

Also is that the tunnel that runs under the airport?

Yes, that is the tunnel you are thinking about. Wish the audio quality was better as I thought the wind noise was high with the window slightly down despite being in a tunnel, but this is the best I could do for now.

 

Have you ever been or driven in Tijuana? The roads look nothing like that there. LOL
