Default Brake squeal

Hi guys,

So I just got new aftermarket pads and rotors. PMU type ps and centric premium rotors installed in the front. Did the bedding the next day at night x5 times and after coming to a stop several times, no squeal. So this morning, while driving in the city about 10 minutes in, the squeal started to come back and gradually get louder. No clue what I did wrong or what happened. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you!

Weird. Depends on the material used in the aftermarket pads. If it uses high friction material like the OEM pads then yeah, there will be some squeal.

It surely is weird, I asked around and some members have the same setup as mine (same pads, rotors) but they do not squeal and have less dust. Not so sure how mine is squealing, maybe I didn't properly bed the brakes and rotors in well enough the first time around? What I did was do around 5-6 hard braking from 60-70 mph to 15-20 mph then repeat. Drove around for a bit but tried not to stop completely at stop signs and then parked my car back at my place. My best guess is to have the shop re-clean them and inspect them for me. Not so sure what else could be the issue.

^^^^Project Mu Type PS is a street pad:

It should not be making noise if bedded in properly. Assume you know that during the bedding process you don't stop, but allow the pads to get hot so they will transfer material to the rotors.

Gotcha, but the question that comes back to mind is for those who are running the same setup as me, they're not making any noise, does that mean they bedded it improperly? Kind of wanted the feel of no noise and less brake dust and not sure which other pads to choose beside the Endless Mx72, but thought these pads would do the trick or it may be something else

Ahhh gotcha, maybe I did something wrong on my end. Will have a talk with the mechanic who installed my pads/rotors. Maybe there is still time to fix the problem otherwise I have no clue what I did wrong

OEM pads and rotors, only changed the fronts because my last service at the dealership said the fronts were low but the back were just fine
