Default Mystery Button

I recently purchased a USB 2.0, 2015 RC F. Everything has checked out on the car minus the previous owner drilling a cellphone mount into the panel just to the left of the center console where your right knee is. We noticed a mystery button that is not stock and were wondering what it is? It clicks very subtly like a computer trackpad but it doesn't do anything when the car is running or off. The car has 36k miles on it, 2 owner. 1st owner drove 33 of the miles second owner owned it for maybe 6 six weeks putting 2k on it.

By the design of it, it is clearly aftermarket. Not sure what the previous owner put it for? NOS?

There is a high chance it's kill switch for subs that may have been on the car in Cali. Talked to the service advisor at the local lexus dealer.

Dealership isn't going to be able to chime in on this aftermarket button. Chances are, it is a dead switch for an accessory that was removed. You will not know until you trace the wire connection.
