That's a NO for me also. The shape just doesn’t go well with the car. I had my factory ones hydrodipped though. Looks good to me and matches the other carbon pieces pretty well.

Yep, love the factory shape with carbon fiber effect. If you gonna do the BMW M-styled mirror covers, might as well replace the F badge with a M badge too (sorry a little extreme, but that's the way I see it)
Yeah, I wasn't digging them as much as I was excited when I first saw them, that is why I posted here.
I wouldn't have called them the M-Style mirrors, didn't even dawn on me, but I can see it now when you guys mentioned it. I think the putting M badges is a bit of a jab especially when I didn't even think of it before - I guess if I said I bought mirror caps that look like M mirrors I can see... no offense was taken not that it matters.
So when I first saw them I like them, pictures looked good, put them on my car for a dry fit and I wasn't feeling them. My GF likes them (based off picture ad, not in person) and asked if I was going to put them on and I told her that she needs to look at it when them on to see if its a go or no go. I too need to see it and step away, I couldn't do that for fear it was going to fall off and get damaged, so I couldn't see it from any other angle then the ones I posted.
