Liquid Platinum is such an underrated color for sure. It definitely looks better in person than in photos.

OP, if the car hasn’t been meticulously maintained prior to you, I highly recommend paint correction, clay, ceramic pro and front coverage like Xpel. The paint pops so much more after and you’ll have a great layer of protection.

It's an excellent car honestly. Speed, comfort, refinement, uniqueness.

I absolutely love this color. Different lighting gives it different color attributes.

Definitely will do some research. It appears to have some sort of paint protection film that was on originally. Do Lexus dealerships normally apply this? Also, what are you referring to when you mention "clay" like clay bar?

'clay bar' yes, but i'm also no expert and am learning too. I'm finding the detailing forum very helpful https://www.clublexus.com/forums/aut...detailing-122/

I'm not sure about Lexus but I have seen cars offered from Toyota with the film already added as a dealer mod for new vehicles. Of course, they always charge more than if you go to a shop that offers the service.

Gotcha thanks for the link and input.

Do you guys think powder coating the 20 spoke stock wheels gloss black would match the liquid platnkim and other carbon fiber pieces?
