OP, if the car hasn’t been meticulously maintained prior to you, I highly recommend paint correction, clay, ceramic pro and front coverage like Xpel. The paint pops so much more after and you’ll have a great layer of protection.

Definitely will do some research. It appears to have some sort of paint protection film that was on originally. Do Lexus dealerships normally apply this? Also, what are you referring to when you mention "clay" like clay bar?

I'm not sure about Lexus but I have seen cars offered from Toyota with the film already added as a dealer mod for new vehicles. Of course, they always charge more than if you go to a shop that offers the service.
