I figure a detailing shop / paint shop could do the same. I actually enjoy putting final detail touches on by myself, so I did the pieces myself. Even details as simple as the two bottom bolts for licence plate cover (that we are unable to screw in):

hacksawed the bolt to size

filled with hot glue

painted

Final Look

I did the exact same thing today with the bottom two screws. Looks complete.

^^ This brings OCD dedication to an entirely new level... And I love it. It's nice to be a part of a forum of equally psychotic automotive minds

haha! It’s true though, I at least had black plastic screws so all I had to do was clip them and file them a bit so no pointy ends scratched the paint. But not having the complete look and leaving two empty holes was unacceptable.

I got them from superbrightleds.com

They were super easy to install, I also searched on YouTube and this one guy had a video for all of them. Extremely easy and changed the whole look of the interior. I’m surprised Lexus didn’t include LED’s to begin with. Super cheap mods which give it that updated modern look.

Just got my car back from the dealership and I got the following done all through warranty:

1. Front and rear brake pads (updated no squeak ones) part numbers: 04465-0W200 and 04466-0W080. Due to minor squeaking.

2. I had AC issues as it wasn't blowing cold. They noticed that the system was half empty (or half full lol) and they topped it off and did a leak test and saw no visible leaks. They checked the Lexus Canada system and saw that there was past AC work done and feel that they might not have topped it up. they swapped out the service valves in case a leak was coming from there but all should be good now.

3. I had a buzzing/distortion coming from the right door speaker when there was a song with heavier bass playing. they replaced the speaker.

4. For a quick customization feature and a $31 CAD with tax cost, I decided to cancel out my no seat belt chime.

NEXT:

1. Will be doing the resonator delete Saturday and will be putting on the spacers hopefully this weekend as well. I need to find the torque specs for this and do a little more research.

Glad you got these items fixed under warranty. Would love to see pics once the spacers are on and vid of the resonator delete.

You put your steering wheel on yet?

I put my torque wrench to 80 ft-lbs for the lugs. Same for the spacers.
