Default Got My PPE Headers Installed And It's AMAZING

I've been waiting for quite some time to be able to say that i'm fully equipped with FULL BOLT ONS! PPE EL Headers, RR racing Bazooka dual mode exhaust, and Password JDM CAI! I received my headers on thursday evening and dropped my car off to Project Import in Orange, CA the next day at 7am. They're the most experienced shop out here in Southern California with RCF header installs. It costs $800 to get them installed but it's worth every penny. Project Import was able to have the headers in by 3pm but had a little hiccup with the pre bent dipstick but was able to have it completely finished by 5pm. Once i got into my car, I noticed a increase in throttle response and power immediately. The sound is completely incredible! Having equal length really makes the car sound much more exotic. Also, shifting up and down has nearly no lag now and feels almost instant! I'm really enjoying these headers! This new set up really wakes up the car but more importantly, it makes the car sound so much better and so much louder! When the valves are closed, you can barely hear the exhaust. I don't know what RR racing did, but I have to give them credit for the quality of this product. They pulled off an amazing system that really makes the car sound almost stock when you choose to close the valves. With them open, this thing ROARS! There is a slight gas smell when you're at a stop light with the windows down but other than that, I LOVE MY NEW SET UP and would highly recommend getting headers if you're on the fence! Enjoy guys!

Here is a short clip of some revs with the valves open! Will upload a better clip soon with both open and closed!

Definitely, one of the best sounding RCF. It does sound more on the exotic side rather than the muscle car side.

I'm extremely annoyed...My ceramic coated headers have been sitting in my second living room for months since there's still no tune available for 17MY+...
RRR where you guys at with this tune been asking since April...

The tune isn't necessary

removing all cats and not customizing a/f ratio with new headers seems shortsighted in my book.
Plus if your car has CEL for an extended time it'll start ****ing with the ecu programming because it assumes cats are overheating and dump fuel and that's if you're lucky.
if you aren't you'll go into reduced power mode aka limp mode and thats a no go for me, ever.

Damn that sucks. Well I hope they get the tune for your car year soon! It would be a shame to let your headers sit there like that

Damn that header sounds good man. Only reason why I am not getting header is because the installer might scratch the body panels? I heard that the engine needs to be taken out to be installed so...

I am. Could lead to scratching the car. I had a tint job done and one of the guys accidently slashed my rear leather seats. You never know what can happen
