Default Chrome Delete - Gloss or Matte?

Getting ready to have all the chrome wrapped on my F. Thoughts on gloss wrap vs. matte? Would love to see some pics of what folks here have done. Thanks!

I have infrared. I went gloss black 1st because the shop was out of matte. It was better than chrome. But changed it out for matte and looks even better. Matte matches the lower black frame better.

I went with gloss black. I think satin might be the sweet spot.

Agree with satin around the window trim. But I would wrap the front grill in shiny black. Been contemplating.

You can kind of see it here on the grill surround, except I have gloss black on the lower portion. The satin part is the same material used on the window trims.

Did mine with a smoke film to match the black pearl emblems. Very close match.

You guys can also get the black pearl window trim from Lexus since they have a black rc350 edition and they come with oem black pearl window trims.

Question

Someone has to ask the infamous question, so let it be me - Exactly how does one Plasti-Dip these chrome parts?
I "assume" they require removal from the vehicle for this - right? Meaning-is there a way to tape off all surrounding areas and Spray the Plasti-Dip onto them?
Would like to do this to the Chrome Pieces around the side windows, but don't just wanna go in with a Pry Bar. Is this an easy DIY job or what? (Love to do Trunk Emblem too!)
Would truly appreciate any help and guidance on doing these guys. Thanks!

For the front molding you can remove the rubber seal when you open the door and then you can remove it
the back molding comes out with the rear quarter window

Some great pics above. It would be really nice to see some b4 and after pics. Lots of interesting ideas.
