Whine noise like a supercharger on 2017 RCF
Hey guys,
Wondering if this was normal for cars. Just noticed it couple of days ago where the car would whine like a supercharger when stepping on the gas either hard or soft acceleration. Is this normal? I have only 1.5k miles on this brand sexy car so hopefully, it is not something as serious.

are the 2017s part of the fuel pump issue and subsequent TSB? I had a "whine" on the right side of the motor when the engine was warm that went away when the TSB was done.

I'm guessing that you are describing is the Fuel pump, and my car does that randomly.

Guys, mine is 20 version, I heard whine sound when rpm close to red line. But I dont hear it in other people’s YouTube video.
I can hear it whenever I hit > 6k rpm.
is this normal?

It is normal. Mine has it as well. It is a transmission whine. It is not audible on youtube video because it is not loud enough, but I recently saw a POV video of TE on WindingRoad with the binaural sound and I could hear the same exact sound in the TE with my headphones on.

No worries. I have heard it for 4+ years I have had the car whenever I redline it. Like you said, it is not there when you only go up to 4500 - 5000 rpm. I have recorded several videos myself and the whine never comes through in those videos using my phone camera. The WindingRoad guys use some binaural expensive equipment that captures every noise very well. You can hear it well through headphones in their videos.
