If you gut the primary cats won't you need a "fooler" or something else to prevent a CEL? I always thought it was reading the o2s before and after the primaries?

Josh,
do you know if Novel can/or has ever done a set of lhd headers with small cats welded into the header similar to how they offer the jdm ones?

I have both Novel exhaust and headers, and I love it!!
How much did you spent?

Ive spent close to 5k for just novel headers alone. do i regret it? not one bit. would i do it again? yes i would when I pick up a GS-F. Sure there are brands like PPE and Sikky for less than half the price. But I can tell you for certain, novels have a distinct sound that no one matches.

Nice man, thinking of pulling the trigger on the Novel headers as well. Any reason why you want to trade in the RCF for GSF?

I am not sure, but yes, the O2 sensors are before and after the primary cats.

Howzit! Can I ask, what exhaust you running with the Novel headers?
I'm running a set of Amuse exhaust and mid pipe. I'm looking for that Novel" sound and wondering if I get close with the Nov headers and amuse exhaust.
Thanks brother!

What's the difference?
I was under the impression that UL is same as Long Tube.

Please, I'm in the market for headers, but I DO NOT want that low rumble of long tubes if you know what I mean. I'd rather have the stock GSF sound with added power.

If you have the means to buy equal length, go for it. Unequal length produces the same power but it creates more drone and the sound is more of a muscle car rather than the equal length which sounds more exotic and no drone. Hope i was of help, good luck!

I'm sorry I was not clear. UL = Unequal Length tubes. EL - Equal Length tubes. Both can be had in (LT) Long Tube or not. On my ISF I am running EL, LT. The description above my post is accurate except, rather than no drone, it is much reduced drone over UL headers. Hope I am more understandable now.

I've sat in an RCF with UL and it droned like a bi**h. If anyone is looking to get headers i would STRONGLY recommend EL
