Oh well, I guess I can't change what he told me and you, but I waited this long, I will just ride it out and see what happens.

We can make this carbonfiber shift ****. This will need to be done on an exchange basis. We do have a few cores on hand and a core exchange program in placed so that there is no downtime with your vehicle. Please do not this is a special order item, lead time is ~ 4 weeks. To discuss your build, please email me at Josh@dctms.com

Hey guys,
just wanted y'all to know I cancelled my order like a month ago, shortly after this thread came out.
I asked my salesman for a refund and he didn't put up a fight at all.
He knew it was going to be a long uphill struggle to get these ***** made, and he frankly didn't want to have to come up with more lame excuses to feed me or the other customers.
I did receive a check promptly so props to them for that. I was expecting to have to twist arms to get my money back.
I told them that this little custom **** was a gateway tester to see how their carbon fiber work looks, and that I would get other stuff made if it turned out good. Yeah...

Hey RamAir47, you are a patient man!!

I had a custom one made from someone on IG after waiting 6 moths for bulletproof automotive. Half carbon fiber half black alcantara to match my shiftboot and steering wheel.

looks good man!
I noticed you had the shift boot done too. Got rid of the blue on the boot. Nice!
Don't know why Lexus chose to put blue stitching on the boot & steering wheel only.

Care to share the source? IG ?

Hows the Alcantara holding up? How many miles has it been since you got the **** installed?
To me I would think regular leather would fare better there since it's a heavy contact spot?

Also, where did you get the carbon fiber dash insert? Is it the same stick on kit that's been circulating around?
It looks thinner on edges like a real cf overlay job.

Look up carbondfiberelement. The only caveat is they need the shift **** to work on. I just installed the shift **** so only time will tell how well the alcantara will hold up. They can make it with leather but i choose alcantara to match everything else.

Center console is a carbon fiber overly from LEMS.

http://www.autogeek.net/sonax-alcantara-cleaner1.html

sonax alcantara cleaner works fantastic! It's a little cheaper from amazon. Just use a bug sponge or an old toothbrush. I use it on my alcantara steering wheel weekly and it looks like new. I also hit up all the armrests from time to time.

It was really easy! It took me maybe 20-30 minutes.

Just pop out the panels with a screwdriver, remove a few screws, pop the top piece off and replace the boot. I used the RC350 red shift boot but the portion that attached the boot to the **** is different on the RC-F vs RC350. I had to swap the old one onto the new boot and trim a bit but it was a fast install.
