The value of the RC-F
A year ago you could find 10, maybe 20 brand new RC-F's on a dealers lot. That's not the case anymore, which is great news for current owners because supply and demand has shifted (and that's Lexus' doing). They've clearly made far less 16's than they did 15's. I looked at new inventory for at least 5 dealership in the Los Angeles area and the most I've found was 5 at a very popular dealership. This is great news for those who intend on keeping their RC-F for a few years or so. In addition to that CarMax doesn't have any used RC-F's nationwide. Anyone else notice a bit of a shortage of new RC-F's?

coming from the ISF world, they did the same thing with the ISF.
Over 50% of all ISFs built were built in 2008, then substantially less in each subsequent year, down to 2014 which less then 200 were built for the US. Im sure its the same with RCF and GSF. If you do a search on ISF side, i think it was something like 2800 ISF for USA in 2008, then like @ 500-600 for 2009, 2010,201, then 2012, 13, 14 even less. There are production numbers for ISF somewhere on the forum.
This bodes well for re-sale value for sure, its been a big topic on the ISF side of things, many are seeing values going up over the last few years, and fewer and fewer examples available. Even fewer available that are clean and not modified, or been wrecked.
My advice to anyone with any F, keep is clean, keep your stock parts, and don't wreck it haha! Because youlll probably have a car in a few years worth close to what you paid for it or more.
Just look at Supras, Integra Type R, NSX, and others in the same boat... I don't think the RCF or ISF having the same body as the standard RC or IS will effect things too much, just as it didn't with the supra or integra. The Type R, or Turbo surpas are what people wanted, and still want.
