Default Front turn signal functionality with the DRL.

I am hoping to get some quick input from a RC F owner. I am working on retrofitting the triple beam turn signal into the USDM RC350, but cannot find the answer to my question below( when searching the internet).

When your headlights are off, does the DRL switch to dim mode when you activate your turn signal?
Or does it stay at full brightness??

Thanks in advance!

If headlights are off, then the led DRL turns off while the blinker is signaling. But stays on regardless of turn signal if headlights are on.
