feel wise, everyone is forgetting the gearing on the RCF. people claim, the ISF and RCF are as fast as each other stock. I had both. ISF "felt" faster. i wasn't even at 60mph until 3rd gear. I'm at 70mph at the end of second gear on the RCF. Just a linear power band and long gears makes the rcf feel a bit slower. but if you look at the speedo, you're moving fast. The ISF felt fast and was pretty quick. short gears with each gear feeling strong and hitting redline fast. The RCF will be a monster with forced induction with those long gears.

this is my stock rc-f with volk te37 19s and 305s rear. it gets up and goes. the speedo goes up quick and just like the ISF, keeps pulling after 100.

although i do enjoy the false sense of feeling fast which makes the car more fun, its nice to have some traction and longer redline when the supercharger is purchased.

It's actually a legitimate way to prep for a hard launch, assuming you burn correctly and not for the crowd. Most max performance tires can benefit from a quick 3 second burn before a launch, much like slicks (except slicks make extra sticky when hot). The reason for a burn is twofold- warm/hot rubber has better traction than cold rubber; your tire is also clean of grit/debris when you're done. It's all for that extra 3/100ths of a second advantage, or just outright annihilating someone. Like so:

Thats pretty crazy the newer cars have so many nannys, ISF you just longpress traction control off and it will let you do a 200 foot burnout no problem lol

Actually this so called nanny was incorporated during the run of the ISF model. AFAIK it was during the 2010 model year, and there was (is) a recall program to change the software in earlier model ISFs to prevent power being applied during simultaneous operation of the brake and accelerator. I have never had this done to my ISF. I sometimes trail brake and this change would prevent me from doing that.

The software change was incorporated as a supposed "fix" for the unintended acceleration fiasco involving that 2009 Lexus ES and the driver not knowing what to do, and killing himself.

Though my days of doughnuts, Jim Rockfords, and parking lot drifting are long past- just knowing a car with such grand Hp is almost incapable of "simply" spooling up for a few mere seconds depresses me. Definitely not a Deal Breaker for me, but does cause me to turn my gaze toward that Voodoo a tad more! - as stated in my initial thread...Choices x2!

You need a specific "pedal dance" for it. It is doable as it has been done many times

VERY nice inclusion my friend. Thank you.
Not many Auto's can bring the same Clutch-Play foot dance, but I sure will try hard. Still debating whether the 18s are worth the $$ step over a 17 ya know? Either way the RCF sits atop my list right now. Voodoo or not, the Shelby interior is just "flat" IMHO.

Know what would also be a little fun - A nicely placed E-Brake Handle too!

You are welcome. If you don't really need the 10 inch screen, '17 is a much better option. You can get a much better deal while having just about everything the '18s have.

I'm sorry but I can say it's definitely something that you're not doing right.
