Default My DCTMS Carbon steering wheel.

I need to upload these pics for you guys to show off how the item comes shipped and some of the install pics. This is a great upgrade. The steering feel is actually more direct, and the quality is top notch!!

before you start make sure your wheels are dead ***** straight. !!!!!

please disconnect battery before removal. i used a 19mm on the steering wheel shaft nut. CAUTION the steering shaft is made out of machined stainless and the nut is hardened steel you can easily KILL the threads re intalling. Dont ask me how i know................ so after removing the nut if you DO NOT have a steering wheel puller. spray penetrating oil on the threads of the shaft inside the steering wheel. then heat with a heat gun. I was able to simple pull off my steering wheel without a steering wheel puller.
on with the pics.

this is the placement of the securing tabs there are 3! one bottom and two top. when the side kidney shape plastic covers are removed you have to look up to release the tab pull slightly on the airbag. Minimal effort is required .

these 3 metal( tabs/bent wire) need to be transferred to the new steering wheel.

^^^ Looks good and beautifully matched to the CF and red interior! One minor complaint is I'd miss the coveted F emblem. Maybe there's a way to add one on the silver facade bottom center of the steering wheel, without looking tacky.
