Default RCF Carbon Mirrors

Picked up my RCF yesterday - USB, fully optioned. Took it out this morning at 4am so I could really open her up on the highways

It came from the dealer with carbon fiber mirrors - anyone know if these are a standard Lexus/Dealer add? I couldn't find them anywhere on the invoice or on the web site.

Is it really carbon fiber or vinyl wrap? It's weird that it's not on the invoice. Any pics?

That is what i was thinkin' also. I would think it was the vinyl wrap, Especially since it wasn't on the invoice. But, if not you got a GREAT Deal for No Extra Cost Definitely post some pics though

No such OEM option that I know of. I only know of a C/F hood in some markets. You can tell right away if it's wrapped. If not, aftermarket then. But nice surprise.

I'm pretty sure they are wrapped - I have the CF roof and wing and it doesn't quite match up with those. Picture below;

Interesting, I've never even heard of hydro dipping before - will have to ask the dealer about them.

Take a close-up picture of the front of the mirror. That's where you can easily tell which of the two. If wrapped, it probably was over the black plastic and inside the mirror cavity. If dipped, it's not going to be quite flush against the black plastic where it normally meets the painted cover, right after it curves on top of the mirror. Neither job is going to look OEM, so if you have a good eye, you should be able to tell.

Thanks - I'm going to guess wrapped after looking more closely - I can't see any imperfections at any of the edges where it meets the housing.

They look like they may be hydro-dipped.
