Default Nav delay or failures

Would someone be willing to look at their settings and see their firmware version and tell me how long it takes from engine start to be able to enter a voice address and how long does it take to find the address.

Bye the way, I am not interested in the "Data" or map version, I have the latest 2015.

My Current Nav V15A8872, Car serial 2669 build of 4/2015
To get the version
On map Press [Menu] Press [Setup] Press [General] Press [Update] and it shows you the version. (attached)
Also:
My OS 16.8700
My update column (NEW) shows a dash ( - )
There was an update/fix in August 2015 and I did the update but did not records before and after version numbers.

My Nav version is not as new as JT2MA71's who posted V15A8880
and this car was built in 9/15/2015 bount in 11/2015 serial 4534.
There was an update/fix in August 2015 and I did the update.

My map SD is Generation 9 is PT219-GEN08-15 which is found with
On map Press [Options] + [MAP DATA]. Data version is displayed.
Mine shows 21-35-17 [2015-06-1]

Is there a TSB or what every for the following problems?

Seems to be worse after the 2015 map update in October
so I wonder if my firmware got corrupted somehow.

How much time does it take you to use voice recognition and
get an address found?

NAV start up takes longer now: a long 45 sec after engine powered on until you can say ADDRESS.

Took 3min to speak an address and find it or have it fail.
Tried engine off and on.

NAV interrupts as I am speaking the address and takes very long time to say "PARDON" or says the wrong words. (like 45 seconds after it says One Moment, Please). Example
If I say 123 Main Street, Los Angles, California
it returned the single word "MAINE" like it ignored the 123 got MAIN
but the interruption left off the city and state.

At least 30 sec to fail recognition after I get the message "one moment please" or find the address like the help example:
1... Main Street, Los Angles, California

NAV reboots if you shift into into reverse while address search in progress

I have unpaired my iphone, no improvement.
Was taking about 1min 18sec until getting the "No Bluetooth found" wich was correct, my phone was in the house so I wondered if this long delay was an issue).

Did get some reboots of NAV but can not remember what led up to them
but they were during address searching.

I have done the voice training 2 times, no errors, no improvement.

Engine on or off: no difference.

I unplugged my USB SD card (music), no improvement.

Under settings I turned off Extended Voice cmds. No improvement.

Emailed Lexus Customer Satisfaction: no help, said see dealer.

Emailed Dealer: could not find any update and says bring it in but I wanted
to see what other people are experiencing.

Thanks for any input on your RC-F nav.

Voice commands are absolute crap on this car, so can't help you there. But how about doing things manually? Same delays? Do that to see if you have a problem with your Nav, or just the voice command aspect of it. I didn't even try the 'learn' feature because it was so off there's no way it'd correct it. Like you said, it throws something totally different of what I said, so won't bother. Fortunately, I rarely use Nav, so not a big deal for me. Mine doesn't even recognize 'map'. Hate not having a button for it, and when I say 'map', the damn thing sends me to phone setup, FM radio, to dial a number, and totally unrelated crap like that. Not even 'sat', which would be logical choice to confuse it with. Good luck.

ELP_JC, So independent of voice recognition:
1. What is the version of your software?
Press [Menu] Press [Setup] Press [General] Press [Update]
2. How long in seconds from engine start until you can enter an address? Keep pushing the talk key until you get the Nav prompt.

Maybe someone else has luck with NAV voice address commands and can give me their
software version as well and response times.

ELP_JC's question RE Voice Recognition vs typing in the address question:
The elapsed time after the complete address is accepted by the NAV and NAV says "One Moment Please" is 30-45sec
and < 30% success. When it does work and get the address string and starts processing most of the time is word analysis.
I think all but 10sec of this time is analysis of my words.
Like you said, if I type in the address and stopwatch it after the last street number is entered it only takes 10sec.
It does take me at least a minute to type and there there is the time to find a place to stop the car since you must do typing in park.

Why do I want voice address entry? On road trips I often have the address written down and want to enter it
while I am driving. Voice recognition is the only way without stopping the car.

Does anyone have access and can give me a copy of Tech Tip L-TT-0121-13?
Got a tip that it might contain info related to my Nav problems and firmware versions.
